I am saying this because one of my known is pursuing same course from LPU and her experience is amazing. Live projects spread across five semesters help develop research aptitude in students. The course offers specializations in Dairy Technology, Fermentation Technology and Bioinformatics. The curriculum offers prime focus on fundamental and applied aspects of biotechnology. The school encourages R & D activities for students to get the benefit. Many students from LPU have successfully collaborated with foreign universities and research institutions. The deptt also inculcates entrepreneurship opportunities to build job providers of the future. Well, the field of food processing industry is growing in the country like India. As far as the job prospects are concerned the area of food processing is on the boos level. If you are doing B.Tech in food processing then definitely you are doing an extra effective branch which is unique in terms of engineering.
