In the dynamic landscape of career possibilities at KLE Technological University, the realms of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) stand as thriving hubs of opportunity. Around 95% of students from both branches find themselves stepping into diverse career paths each year. For CSE and ECE graduates at KLE Tech, the journey unfolds with promising placement records. The highest Corporate Technical Class (CTC) reaches a commendable INR 30 LPA, embodying the zenith of success. The average CTC of INR 6.5 LPA signals a steady rhythm of growth and opportunity, translating academic endeavors into professional milestones. Similarly, at GNIT IPU, the tales of success for both B.Tech CSE and B.Tech ECE echo with high placement rates exceeding 90%. The diversity in career paths is a hallmark—ECE graduates delve into wireless communication, signal processing, control systems, power systems, and embedded systems, while CSE graduates navigate the realms of software development, data analysis, and artificial intelligence. In this vibrant ecosystem, the highest paid package at KLE Tech, offered by Walmart at 14 LPA, stands as a beacon of achievement, accompanied by a chorus of companies contributing to the symphony of success with packages ranging from 6 to 10 LPA. It's not just placements; it's a journey where academic pursuits culminate in a future painted with possibilities for every CSE and ECE enthusiast.

Placements at the  I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU),   are quite good. Almost 70 percent of  B.Tech students got placed. Top companies visits our college.

The placement drive for 2023 is still on going. The complete placement report is yet to be released. However, the University has released the list of recruiters who participated during IKGPTU placements 2023 such as TCS, HDFC Bank, Decathlon, Infosys, etc.

The University has also released the 2023 NIRF report. As per the report, 55 BTech, 9 MTech, and 2 MBA students were placed during IK Gujral Punjab Technical University placements 2022. The median package for BTech stood at INR 4.50 LPA. For M.Tech and MBA courses, the median package stood at INR 3 LPA and INR 2.70 LPA, respectively.

According to a number of placement reports and statistics, DDU Gorakhpur University's B.Tech in CSE offers comparatively better placement opportunities than ECE:

The majority of jobs are in the core IT/software sector, which also heavily hires from CSE branches. CSE students are preferred by top recruiters like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro.Students majoring in computer Science have highly sought-after skills in software tools, databases, and computer programming. ECE expertise is not as much in demand.According to reports, DDU GKP offers CSE students an average salary package of between Rs 3.5 and Rs 4 LPA. It is roughly between Rs 2.5 and Rs 3 LPA for ECE.
For CSE, placement rates are higher. Approximately 60–65% of CSE students are hired on campus. It is 40–50% for ECE.
Prominent hiring firms such as Bosch, LTI, and Capgemini prioritize CSE students over ECE.
