The BTech Biotechnology course duration in India is generally 4 years. Almost all of the BTech courses are 4 years long that include both theoretical knowledge and practical lab work in order to make the students job-ready. As an exception, if you have a 3-year Diploma in Biotechnology or a related field, you can complete the BTech Biotechnology course in 3 years via the lateral entry admission systems where you can directly enter the 2nd year of the UG program.
