I recommend the following steps for you to get admission in a government college:
- Research government colleges in Tamil Nadu that offer courses that interest you.
- Consider your marks in the 12th grade and the cutoff marks of the colleges you are interested in.
- Apply to as many colleges as possible. This will increase your chances of getting admission.
- Give preference to colleges with lower cutoff marks.
- Choose a course that is in high demand. This will give you a better chance of getting admission in a good college.

During the BTech placements 2023 at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (Kalasalingam University), the average package provided was 4-5 LPA in Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (Kalasalingam University) . The average package given to BTech students in the 2023 placements at the Shri GS Institute of Technology & Science (SGSITS) in Indore was 10 LPA. In 2022–2023 around 60-80% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest was INR 3 LPA. The average salary package is around 6 LPA which is pretty good. The oppurtunities are provided but it's onto to the students to grab. Capgemini, HCL, TCS, Infosys, and many other companies visit for recruitment. Around 50% of students get internships.
