Students become eligible for placements from the third year of the college. The college's placement staff is aware of the placements and helps the students to prepare the resume. The median  package for BTech students is around Rs. 5,00,000 and companies Iike Cipa, lupin, nestle, etc. came to college to give placements. Last year a student from engineering got placed in Tesla with 4 crore package.

The overall seats are available for the BTech programme at Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology is around 1230. Currently, in Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology there are around 5000+ students pursuing various Undergraduate programs (BE/BTech) in 1st year. However, for the BTech programme the college offers a limited numbers of seats. To acquire the seats candidates must take admission at the Hindustan College's official website and later register for counselling at TNEA's official website.

Top BTech colleges in Lucknow are Amity University, BNCET Lucknow, Goel Group of Institutions, etc.  There are 48 private and 10 government BTech colleges in Lucknow. You can consider integral University and Amity University in Lucknow for good placement

The average salary package offered at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University (DDU) is around 3–5 LPA.  The highest package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture and IBM. The top role offered is a consultant. 
 
The average annual salary at DDU is INR 6.1 lakhs.
 
Every year, 60-80% of students get placed from campus. The packages offered range from 2-6 LPA. The maximum package can also go up to 10 LPA sometimes.
