The BTech placements at University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) are quite good.
UVCE has a placement rate of 90%, which is one of the highest among engineering colleges in India.
More than 98% of students in the ISE and CSE branches get placed in UVCE, and the highest salary package offered in the previous year was 40 LPA. Around 115 companies have visited UVCE so far for the 2023 Batch Students and more than 353 offers have been made to students across various streams.

The fee structure for B.Tech programmes ( Biotechnology, fashion technology, information technology and textile technology) at Kumaraguru College of Technology is approximately around Rs.3,81,000 - Rs.4,01,200 ( 4 years ). This is the tuition fees excluding the mess fee or hostel fees of Kumaraguru College of Technology. The fees is almost same for all specialisations in B.Tech course. The Return on Investment in B.Tech course is 2 lakh to 4 lakh.

For 2023, cut off was 3258 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM). For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 5862 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The placements at Kumaraguru College of Technology is very good. According to 2022 statistics, out of total registred students for placements 95% of the students got recruited by top recruiters. The top companies visitng the campus are Amazon, Wipro, Decathlon, L&T, Bosch, etc. The average package is INR 5.64 LPA and the highest package was INR 15 LPA. The domains of companies which come for recruitement are core companies, product based companies, management firms and service based companies.
