IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology released 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs were released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs are based on the following factors:

The JEE Advanced score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

IIT Jammu 2024 cutoff ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering other than General category are mentioned below

  • 2341 for OBC
  • 1093 for SC
  • 635 for ST
  • 945 for EWS

While the admissions are based on the scores/ rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 4458 and closing rank was 4856. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1496 and 9840. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For IIT Jammu cutoff 2023 was 16786 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering in IIT Jammu - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 23299 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIT Jammu admissions 2024 are based on JEE Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process.

For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 22180 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

B.Tech CSE: Passing the 10+2 (English Medium) exam administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education or an exam of equal standing from a recognised board in the Science stream (with PCME as a required subject) with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% is required. The JEE Mains exam or any other eligibility test held in 2023 must be taken.
