MJPRU BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
MJPRU BTech courses are three-four year courses offered on the UG level. BTech at MJRPU is offered in fulltime mode in many specialisations. Some of the BTech specialisations at MJRPU include BTech in Computer Science and Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc.
MJRPU also offers BTech in lateral entry which have a duration of three years. MJPRU BTech admissions are decided on both merit and entrance basis, depending on the availibility of seats after the admission process. The first year BTech admissions are decided on the basis of the JEE Mains score while the lateral entry admissions are decided through CUET scores.

MJPRU BTech admission dates follow the same timeline for the first year and lateral entry admissions. The MJRPU BTech deadline is scheduled after the results of Class 12 board exams have been announced. Candidates need to keep track of JEE Main dates if applying for first year admissions. No, the MJRPU BTech admissions for the academic year 2026 are currently not open. The institute usually opens the admissions to the BTech course after the results of the JEE or CUET-UG have been revealed.
Thus, candidates should check the admission dates on the website after the aforementioned exams have been concluded for 2026 admissions.
Currently, only the CUET 2026 registrations for BTech (lateral entry) admissions at MJRPU are open.
