The candidates cannot secure a seat in any government engineering college without appearing for the entrance exam. The seats are given based on the score of the exam. Candidates after taking the exam need to check the merit list of the college and after clearing the exam the candidates are eligible for counselling. After the counseling rounds, candidates can secure their seats by paying the fees. The rank in Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering for securing a seat for the year 2023 is around 70%. Candidates can check their rank and scor and on 70-75 percentile candidates can get their seats in the college.

 DAV University has announced the placement data for the 2021 passing-out batch. Over 200 companies participated in the recruitment drive in 2021. The DAV University the highest package stood at INR 17 LPA and was offered to BTech CSE students. As per the latest report, 32 students bagged offers from renowned companies such as IDFC First Bank Limited, Practo, Veeba Food, and many others.

B.Tech Part-Time After Diploma

The AICTE rules state that those who already possess an engineering diploma are qualified to apply for the BTech part-time degree. Students need to get a passing score on an entrance examination that is given on a national basis in order to be admitted into the part-time BTech program.

Sastra University allows admission on the basis of JEE Mains results. So you need a minimum of 100 - 120 marks in Mains. Apart from JEE Mains result theg also consider 12th results so you need to have a minimum of 75% to get eligible for this course.

As per the previous year cutoff, candidates are expected to have an overall cutoff of 98 Percentile, whereas a sectional cutoff of 50 Percentile in order to be eligible for DU admissions through FMS Delh.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech is:

1. Educational Qualifications:
   - Completion of HSC or its equivalent examination.
   - Compulsory subjects: Physics and Mathematics.
   - Additional compulsory subject: Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects.

2. Minimum Marks:
   - A minimum of 45% marks is required in the qualifying examination.
   - Relaxation for Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates: At least 40% marks.
