Yes, MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences offers BTech (lateral entry) courses. The lateral programmes are offered across 11 specialisations. Candidates getting a seat in this course get admitted directly in the second year of the course. To be eligible for course, aspirants must be Class 12 pass with 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories).

The university allot seats through a counselling process. Additionally, the seat allotment is done based on applicants scores in the accepted exams.
