No, the TFW Seat won't be affected. The paper can still be cleared by reappearing in those papers and your seats remain untouched. So, don't worry about the seats. And, All the best!

While comparing K. R. Mangalam University and Dronacharya College of Engineering for B.Tech in Computer Science, the latter has numerous factors that place it ahead of others like the use of innovative teaching techniques, immense infrastructure and a strong connection with the industry. It has flexible educational programme and curriculum having subject content developed by professionals; the school provides long access to effective laboratories; there are good contacts with companies like Infosys and TCS and good opportunities to get a job when graduating. There are 240 seats available for the B.Tech EEE course in BIT Mesra. Of the total 240 seats, 120 seats are available for the general category candidates. Out of these, 60 seats are for the SC/ST category of candidates. Out of which, 40 seats are reserved for OBC-NCL category. It provides special accommodations for Disabled Persons with 4 seats dedicated to PWDs. The other 4 are held for international students who may want to be part of the program. The remaining 12 seats are reserved for Non-Resident Indians (NRI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO).

BIT Mesra has a placement cell and the students have to undergo many activities like resume writing, interview training etc. to be placed in different companies.

  • Talking about placement, the placement report reveals the fact that there is a constant rise in the maximum salary offered to the students year by year. The highest package was INR 35 LPA for the graduating batch of EEE students for the year 2021-22 which was extended by Tower Research.
  • Many PSUs like Power Grid, ONGC, CPRI also visit BIT Mesra to hire EEE students with reasonable salary packages offered between 10- 20 Lacs per annum.
