No, there is no direct admission to B.Tech at BIT Sindri Dhanbad. Admission is determined by your performance in the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main), followed by counselling through the Joint Entrance Committee - Jharkhand Engineering Colleges Entrance (JCECE).

Government college admissions are a bit competitive in nature and hence the rank fetched would not secure an admission in the government college. Actually, the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme of the Dream Institute of Technology (DIT) has a selective admission policy.
