Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 21334 and closing rank was 30177 for BTech CSE in JNU. Moreover, cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, cut off was 51087 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Smart Manufacturing course admission at IIITDM Kancheepuram. For female candidates belonging to the General category under All India quota, 70117 was the closing rank. NIT Calicut - National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech  in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

  • The JEE Main score of the candidate
  • The category of the candidate
  • The number of seats available in the course

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

During the IIITDM Kancheepuram BTech 2023, the last round closing rank ranged between 18640 and 55338, among which B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering were 14605 and 18640, respectively for the General All India category students.

The Cutoffs are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 32411 and 44990. Admission to BTech in Chemical Engineering in NIT Calicut - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University offers admission to BTech + MTech courses througfh JEE Main scores followed by the Counselling. GGSIPU BTech+MTech cutoff 2022 for Chemical Engineering stood at 85,744 for the General category candidates in All India quota. Whereas, for female candidates in general category under All India quota stood closed. Further, GGSIPU BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/ quota of the applicant.

The cutoff trend for BTech at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has been a decreasing one in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 90,378. In 2022, it decreased to 85 744. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 90,378 to 81,426 for OBC, 19,0098 to 2,24,720 for SC, 6,62,196 to 3,90,021 for ST, 10,2,979 to 1,01,883 for EWS categories.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for BTech in Electrical Engineering at MNIT Jaipur - Malaviya National Institute of Technology other than General category are - 23810 for OBC, 2704 for SC, 95455 for ST, 22197 for EWS & 419493 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
