With this percentile, The chances are less to get a seat in NITs, IITs, GFTIs. You can go for the state level counselling. You can also use JEE Main college Predictor tool to know your admission possibilities in state level counselling.

If you got 70.72 percentile in JEE Main then your rank after JEE Main April will be around 5 lakhs with this rank you can't get NIT's, but you can get admission in Reputed private colleges like

No it would be difficult as the rank should be below 8000 atleast for getting mining engineering and all other courses subsequently the ranks are below 5000.

Actually you have plenty of option. You can get into any private college with desired course but for getting into government college it depends on the entrance examination marks. If you get 95 percentile in JEE Mains you may get into NIT's.
