Hello Burra, I am afraid that what you are seeking is not available. UGC had decided that no university will offer any professional course including engineering via open or distance learning method. Hence this route is just not possible. Alternatively if you are working then you can think of doing AMIE, which is equivalent to graduation in engineering for all purposes. Best wishes to you.

Hello Nivedita, there are plenty of good colleges in Pune. Also one needs to have only reasonable grip on English. But why Chandigarh? I was unable to appreciate its significance. Hello Prachi, it's nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing graduation in engineering after completion of your 12th. For getting admission in IIT or NIT you must ensure that you score at least 75% in 12th. There are plenty of engineering colleges in Maharashtra which offer multitude of courses. It's quite mind boggling. I would hence like to advise you to think again and ponder as to what you like best. Do not opt for engineering due to peer pressure. A student can make career in any subject. I am saying this since as per one report of Maharashtra, almost 50% of fresh engineering graduates could not find placements. Best
