Dear Akshit, Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements, etc. Both have good placement but in the case of infrastructure and facility, LPU is better than any other University. LPU is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. With Quality of Education, Placements

Marks don't tell what exactly a person will be a quality engineer or not. Our education has system has made some boder line for identifying those person. Lets revert back to your question for JEE advance it is 75% for candidate. Relaxation of 5 -10% for reserved candidate. For state level college you need more than 55% in 12th boards.

It completely depends on the category you belong to. If you are a general category candidate, then sorry to say but NO, you won't get it. Rest it depends on your category. Hope this helps you. Thanks.

Hi, I can understand your apprehension and angst why you are studying in 12th standard. But let me assure you that the marks in the 12th standard are not the criteria for getting admission for BTech in any discipline. For IIT one needs to score minimum 75% off marks in the 12th board. After this the students performance in JEE Mains will enable him to appear for JEE advanced and the performance in JEE advanced would only enable the student to get admission in any one of the IIT's. My sincere advice to you would be not to look for marks in the 12th examination but lay more emphasis on learning the concepts that the teachers will try to
