After completing B.Tech, you can apply for IES (Indian Engineering Services) exam conducted by UPSC every year. You can also apply for state government exams like MPSc, GPSC, TNPSC, etc.

Hi Satadal,
In IIT, earlier, in the academic year 2016-17, the tuition fee for socially and economically backward students at the IIT was waived off. However, now, SC/ST/PH students shall get complete fee waiver. Students whose parents earn less than Rs 1 Lacs can get full remission of the fee. At some universities, you can only get a fee waiver for your first year of study. Although you'll need a smaller tuition fee loan with a fee waiver, you should apply for the full amount of tuition fee loan. Sure if you want to apply for BS abroad then you have to score good marks in SAT. But for India, SAT is not applicable. You can go for JEE Mains and other exams.

SRM University main campus is the best among the three branches of college under SRM group. CE college of engineering is a better choice since you did not get in the main campus of SRM. So opt for that.
