PES University offers a four-year B.Tech programme at the UG level. Admission to the B.Tech programme is based on KCET score, followed by KCET Counselling, which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of the KCET 2021 result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate's preference for courses and colleges. The cutoffs are generally declared in two rounds of KCET Counselling based on closing ranks for each of the B.Tech specialisations. The cutoffs are released for home state and other state candidates, which are further divided into GM GMK, SCG, STG, etc. , categories.
