Based on your local entrance exam, you're going to get a seat in the concerned Bachelors college. Not based on your percentage but based on your test, they are going to allot a seat for you.

It is completely fine as long as you are clear and firm with your decision. You may very well pursue cosmetology as a career. Alternately, you could pursue a job related to B.Tech course while you do a certificate or a Diploma alongside, say over the weekend or through a short sabbatical. That way, for a little while you will have both tasks at hand and it might seem a little too much pressure. However it will definitely help to have a smooth and logical transition.

Most of the universities don't consider your marks or CGPA. And let me be clear, based on your percentage scholarships will be decided. So, try to consider it and plan your studies.
