AKTU BTech admission is entrance-based and done based on JEE Mains and UPTAC. The minimum percentage required in Class 12 to apply for the course ranges between 45% and 75%. Hence, 60% is a safe score in most cases, as long as you also clear the selection criteria. In case a candidate does not score enough, or wants to consider other options for BTech admissions, they can always opt for other colleges offering online BTech courses.

The total tuition fee for the CT Group of Institutions BTech ranges from INR 2.1 Lacs to 2.1 lakh. The total course fee also includes a caution deposit of INR 8,000. The fee might vary as per the specialisation selected by the candidates. BTech is available in more than five specialisations. There are several potential reasons why the Government of India, through its Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry, hasn't provided guidelines for AICTE to offer distance BTech programs:
- Quality concerns: Challenges for implementing distance learning for technical disciplines such as engineering include comparability to face-to-face settings. Many curriculums involve practical laboratory and training therefore transferring them through distance format is quite a challenge.
- Regulation issues: Currently, regulations in India don't fully recognize distance B.Tech degrees as equivalent to regular B.Tec
