You can surely work at Google after completing your BTech, but it is not a cakewalk; you see cutthroat competition with a comparatively low success rate. Some BTech specializations like CSE, Data Science, Software Engineering are often kept at priority when hiring students at Google, given their knowledge and technical expertise learned during the academic journey.

Well, coding proficiency is not compulsory for all BTech branches, but it is better to gain mastery over some basic coding skills to enhance your career prospects, engage in versatile future projects, have advanced-level problem-solving and analytical skills, and get better salaries from recruiters. Especially in BTech branches like CSE, ECE, IT, AL & ML, etc., you need to have a strong hold over coding languages.

Students need to obtain a competitive rank in JEE Main and JEE Advanced so that they can become eligible for admission procedures at IIT Bhubaneswar. Candidates are required to achieve a cut-off rank, as decided by the course. For instance, the cut-off rank needed for BTech Civil Engineering was 14,782, whereas for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) it was approximately 3,685. You need your 10th and 12th marksheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate, character certificate, passport-size photos, ID proof, caste certificate if applicable, and entrance exam scorecard. Candidate should pass in three years Diploma in Mech. / Marine / EEE / ECE with minimum 55% aggregate in final year. The minimum of 50% in English during Class 10 or Diploma. Qualifying in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India is NOT mandatory for Diploma candidates
Medical fitness certificate & Merchant Marine Psychometric Evaluation Test certificate obtained from Directorate General of Shipping approved Medical Officer. A Valid passport is required at the time of admission at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Kanchipuram.
