Yes, Bahra University is a private university in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India. It was established in 2014. In the B-School rankings by Times of India for 2020, it ranked it 44th among the “Top 50 Private B-Schools in North India thus suggesting that BU has a reasonable reputation in the region particularly within Himachal Pradesh. No, you cannot get direct admission to B.Tech at Bahra University.

In Punjab, India, Bahra University is a privately funded higher education institution that uses entrance examinations and merit as criteria for admission into its B.Tech programs. Instead, candidates are supposed to sit for an entrance exam like JEE Main or any other university level test followed by counseling to secure their entry tickets. Moreover, they might also be required to fulfill certain eligibility requirements including minimum percentage marks in qualifying examination (12th class).
