Yes, foreign national students can get admission in the UG and PG courses in BHU. 15% of supernumerary seats in each programme are reserved for foreign nationals. Candidates under the Foreign Students category must register through the Foreign Students' Registry only. Admissions under the foreign students' category will be merit-based. They do not have to appera in CUET exam.

No, direct admission is not possible in Babu Banaras Das University. Admission is based on entrance scores. The university accepts national-level entrance exams like CLAT for LLB, CAT/ MAT/ CMAT for MBA and JEE Main for BTech, etc. Merit is also accepted for BCom, BBA, BCA, etc.

To secure admission in Babu Banaras Das University, students must fulfil the eligibility. The university accepts national-level entrance exams like CLAT for LLB, CAT/ MAT/ CMAT for MBA and JEE Main for BTech, NEET for MDS, etc. Students can also get admission on the basis of merit for courses such as BCom, BBA, BCA, etc. Students can apply online for admission.

The score required to take admission at BHU depends on the category you belong to and the course chosen. For the General AI category, the round 3 cutoff ranged from 6 to 260 for different PG-level programmes as per the BHU CUET PG cutoff 2026. So, yes, General AI category students can get admission to this institute with a score of 20.

If you belong to the OBC AI category, the minimum score required was 13 in the fourth round. For this category, the cutoff varied from 13 to 242. For more information, click here.

The score needed for BEd course admission at BHU would depend on the category and round you are applying in. For the General AI category, the round 3 cutoff ranged from 30 to 177 for several BEd course specialisations. So, students in this category need a score of at least 30.

BHU CUET UG cutoff 2026 ranged from 29 to 200 for the OBC AI category students under the All India quota. The CUET BHU cutoff 2026 was released for the third round. Students would need a score of at least 29 to be considered elgible for admission.

DU & BHU are the most popular central universities in India among CUET aspirants. Candidates can refer to the following points to decide which of the two is better:

BHU CUET cutoff 2026 ranged from 52 to 200 for admission to various BEd courses as well as an LLB programme. This is the cutoff range for the OBC AI category. As per this range, the most preferred course for admission was B.Ed. in Languages, with the cutoff being 200.
