Banaras Hindu University has specified a minimum aggregate of 45-50% for BSc admissions. Candidates must have completed Class 12 or equivalent to be eligible for admission to BSc courses. Candidates with 80% in Class 12 typically have a decent chance of getting admission. Along side, candidates should also have a valid score in CUET/ NEET.

Banaras Hindu University offers BTech across several specialisations. The duration for BTech at BHU is 4 years. The eligibility for BTech courses at BHU Varanasi is Class 12 from any recognised national or state board with at least 50-75% and a valid score in JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or CUET.
