It is the Law faculty under BHU. This Law school is one of the earliest departments established under BHU and offers UG, PG and doctoral level programmes such as BA LLB (Hons), LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD to the students.

Banaras Hindu University is a prominent law university. Even it has got nice infrastructure and some good faculty. But it doesn't hold that great placement records. It has a low placement rating as compared to other government colleges.
The 2023 placement session of PDEU concluded with 90% of the students placed. Over 100 companies participated in the recruitment process.

BHU ensuring 90 percent of the batch with the placements with the highest package as 35 LPA Average package is around 11 LPA. 25 Campanies reached the BHU year 2023
PHEU ensures its average package to be 11LPA and the highest package received was 38 LPA
Looks like both are best colleges in terms of placements

Shortlisted candidates appearing for GDPI round, need to carry a few documents with them. The list of documents to be carried along are:
- Photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card/PAN) with a self-attested copy of the respective document)
- Self-attested copy of the CAT Scorecard
- Self-attested copies of Mark-sheets of Class 10, Class 12
- Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST/ NC OBC)
- Income certificate for candidates belonging to EWSs
- Self-attested copy of disability certificate (in case of Divyang candidates)

Banaras Hindu University is one of the top universities in India. In NIRF rankings 2023, it is ranked fifth in the university category and 11th in the overall category. BHU MBA admission start with the release of the application form. Apart from CAT application form, aspirants have to apply on BHU IMS admission portal as well. CAT registration 2023 have closed and the exam is scheduled for Nov 26. Moreover, MBA and MBA IB application process 2024 has started at IMS, BHU. The application form was released on Oct 5 and the last date to apply is Jan 3, 2024.

Banaras Hindu University has seat reservation of SC, ST, OBC, and other such category candidates. Additionally, seats are reserved for females, physically challenged, visually impaired, etc., candidates as well. Some key pointers related to BHU reservation policy are as follows:
- The university reserves 15% and 7.5% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, respectively for each course.
- 27% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the OBC category (excluding under creamy layer); not applicable for all courses.
