You can read the eligibility for Banaras Hindu University B.Com (Hons) in Financial Markets Management here:
"Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination with
Commerce/ Economics/ Maths/ Computer science/Finance/Financial Markets Management as one of
the subjects securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and must have passed in the
concerned subject (as supported by the certificate issued by the examining body).
AGE: Age should not be more than 22 years on 1st July of the admission year"

This draft is to be deposited at the time of GD-PI.
As for the GD-PI process, FMS calls professors and experts from other colleges and faculties to keep the process as fair as possible and choose the best amongst the lot.
Also, for the various arrangements that are done, we also gave the DD at our time
So did our seniors and super seniors and others.I am very sure that none of us regret it .
We all know FMS-BHU gives an amazing ROI which is hardly given by any college.
So, I don't think this 2000 is a big deal in front of Rs 20 lakhs and so one is supposed to pay at other B-Schools.
Trust me, you are not going to repent it.

If you had received a call and you appeared for GD-PI, you have chances of converting if you performed exceptionally well in GD-PI and you have good academic records.

The weightage in selection process is CAT-50%,GD-15%,PI-15% and academic records- 20%. Though work experience does not carry any separate weightage but having work experience can definitely help you at the time of PI as your experience gives you an edge over others. So, yes, it can help.
