Candidates willing to get admission must take part in the BHU admission process before the last date of application. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for these courses is merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are CUET-PG, CAT, BHU PET, and others.

There is no such compulsory subject for BHU entrance exam. Students going for JEE Main must have Science as manadatory field. CAT can be given by students who have done their graduation with a minimum of some percentage. For selecting particular courses such as BTech, students' prior education background must be very much related to the field.
