Baylor University offers admissions in the August (fall) and January (spring) intakes. However, some programs have only one intake, which is usually the fall session. International applicants are advised to apply well before the deadline so that they have enough time to complete all visa related processes if they are accepted. The application dates for applying to Baylor University 1st November, 1st February, 15th November (early spring). General deadlines for undergraduate applicants are given below, however, the university strongly advises international applicants to apply by early November. This will allow the admissions team enough time to review your application and revert timely with a decision: 

How many hours per week a student can work on campus is determined by a number of criterias:

• Students can not work when their class is scheduled.

• Students are not allowed to earn more than their eligibility amount.

• Students cannot work more than twenty hours a week while they are enrolled in the classes.

•  Students may only work a maximum of 20 hours each week during fall and spring semesters. This includes both graduate assistantships and student worker positions

• During official breaks when school is not in session, students may work up to 40 hours each week unless the summer is their initial term in their programme - this includes Christmas Break, Spring Break, and Summer Break.

• Post-work study permit is one of the most crucial factors for students aiming to pursue higher studies in USA. On the completion of a degree programme in the US, international students are permitted Optional Practical Training (OPT), which is a one-year work and stay back permit. OPT is further classified into two types; Pre-Completion OPT and Post-Completion OPT. With the help of OPT, students get the post-study work permit to stay in US for a year after completing their degree program.

To meet the eligibility requirement students must submit the following items directly from the testing agency. Copies are not accepted.

• Official transcript (mark sheet) showing the completion of one year of full-time study at a high school located in the United States

• Official statement of completion from one full year of full-time study at a high school where English is the official language of instruction

• Official SAT 1 Critical Reading score of 470 (old SAT) or new SAT reading score of 26. Baylor's SAT code is 6032.

• ACT English score of 20. Baylor's ACT code is 4062

• Official IELTS score of 6.5 (We will accept IELTS Indicator)

• Official TOEFL score of 80 

• Offi PTE score of 60

• Duolingo English Test score of 110
