BCA Scope

Job Perspective:
After completing the BCA course students can start as Junior Programmer or a Software Tester and then move higher up the ranks and attain the role of a Senior Programmer. IT industry is booming in India and even in times of global recession, the Indian scene was relatively stable. While BCA gives students a solid grounding in technology theory, career wise, your more likely to find your competitive edge by completing your MCA. After graduation, a student with a B.Tech degree has greater job opportunities than a student with a BCA. Still, junior programming positions and software testing jobs are available to BCA graduates; from there you can climb up. The IT sector in India is a very stable one. Future Scope:
There may be chances of future scope-
1) One can go for the job in software companies like Infosys, TCS, Google, Tech-Mehendra, Patni, WIPRO and some others software companies.

All the courses have great opportunities. The opportunities are not so much within the type of degree, as it is within the individual who has the degree. Opportunities are always there. It is up to you to take advantage of them through creative and critical thinking, assertiveness, perseverance, commitment, positive attitude, and the ability to think through long-term benefits. The most important and critical issue is your ability to create a vision for yourself. In other words, a clearly articulated picture of the future you intend to create for yourself.
After you take hold of this vision, you must then develop a road-map that will bring that vision into reality. Then, you can better determine what type of degree is more beneficial and meets your overall career goals and objectives. Thus, the following: Develop the will to change circumstances. Create the vision. Develop a road-map on how to GET there GET help through a coach, mentor, etc.). Just do it and do not let go until the vision becomes a reality. Remember this, "Attitude is everything. BCS IT/CS is concept oriented, IT will teach you the core concept of IT /CS and you will have to study Science subjects too.
On other hand, BCA is application oriented, teach current technologies, platforms. One can join BCA from Science, commerce and arts background. But to pursue B.Sc. IT/CS, you need to have a background of Science. B.Sc. IT/CS is a general course and BCA is a Technical Course, so getting job from BCA is easy than B.Sc. IT/CS. After B.Sc. IT, you can do M.Sc. IT/CS or MCA both. But after BCA you can only do MCA. Best universities for doing BCA and B.Sc.
