BCA Scope

A BCA graduate can also find jobs in the public sector. Many public sector organizations recruit graduates in computer application. They can find jobs in petroleum sector industries like Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Bharat Petroleum, etc. They can also try for jobs in telecom sector industries such as Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). They can also try jobs under various ministries, for this, they have to pass certain entrance exams or PSC tests conducted by the government. They are paid a very high salary in public sector, along with certain extra benefits. The initial salary can be up to Rs. 25,000/- per month.

After BCA, MCA is probably a better course for you because it lies in the same subject specialisation. However, if you want to do MBA you can do MBA in Information technology. MCA is a postgraduate course spans over a period of 3 years and divided into 6 semesters. MBA is a postgraduate programme spans over a period of 2 years and divided into 4 semesters. If you are more technology oriented and wish to make your career in programming, software or any other technical aspect, then you should opt for MCA. Contrary to that, if you are interested to move in management and administration, if you posses leadership qualities along with technical skills then MBA degree is for you.

You have the following options after BCA:
1 Do an MCA (which I recommend not to) which is a 3 years course again. The curriculum is almost as same as BCA course so you end up studying same things that you studied in BCA. Plus placement for MCA are not that great these days. So many colleges are shutting down their MCA department due to very low demand. Overall BCA+MCA options is dying in India due to less acceptance from IT companies or a very low package.
2 Get into job oriented courses like Wipro WASE program. It's a 4-year program (on the job) which offer M.Tech in software engineering degree at the end of 4 years by BITS, Pilani (Wiprohastiedup with BITS, Pilani). You get monthly Stipend of 13500, 16000, 19000, 23000 in 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th year respectively. Note that: Maths in class 12 is compulsory for this program. Selection process via test, interview.
3 Another job oriented program is by TCS called as Ignite. Again an on the job 3 years program which offers MCA in tie-ups with Sastra University.
4 With new age e-learning, BCA students should also look for doing Open Learning courses from websites like Udacity, Simplilearn, Coursera. It offers various new age courses like Mobile & Software development, Cyber Security, IT Service & Architecture, Cloud Computing, etc.
5 If not software/IT (it's not your interest), then look for options outside like social work, management, fellowships like YIF, journalism, law, etc. For this understand yourself via taking a psychometric assessment test and talking to a career counselor

So, you are confused between if you can go to the ISRO or any space science after BCA, then let me clarify you that you cannot go just after BCA. The reasons are following:
(1) Indian Space Research Organization is the only organization in India which conducts all its space program. To enter in ISRO, you must have at least M.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology. ISRO does not hire the candidates who are only graduates. And if they do then it's a very rare case. So, no chance to get admission there.
(2) ISRO wants the candidates who are specialized with the branches like Aerospace, Aeronautics, Astronautics, Electronics, computer science & IT, Remote sensing & Navigation, Communication, etc. In BCA, you will just get the basic knowledge of Computer Application, BCA is not the stream of core specialization in computer science. So, no chance to go there.
(3) Although, in Space Science Organization, there are huge vacancies for computer science and IT students. But don't ever think to go there with only your graduation degree and no work experience. They do have a ton of weightage on your work experience in a particular field. Through BC, if you can't handle their ultra complex software and programming features. You cannot encrypt the data as they want. So, there are a lot of things which you cannot do with just BCA.
So, I suggest you to do MCA after that from one of the premier institutions and have a lot of experience in any space science or related field. This might help you go get admission in ISRO.

Bachelor in Computer Application is a course in which student learn about various computer programming language, about Big Data and many other things. As tradition MCA and MBA are the most choosing fields for Masters courses by BCA students but there are many other courses which they can do to make their better career.
1. Masters in Information Management (M.I.M.)
This program gives detailed education in management of technology, dynamic and fast paced information technology. After this course one can become a system analysis, designer, developer, etc.
2. Master in Computer Management:
This program gives detailed information about managing the computer and marketing, financial and operations management. After this course one can become a system analysis, security analysis, DBA and many more.
By joining these two courses one can get also better job opportunities and a secure future in spite of choosing MCA or MBA.
