Hi,
Job prospects are available in various areas like programming, networking, system administration etc. There are many companies which specialize in these areas like WIPRO, TCS etc. But the scope is not limited to the IT companies. Most organizations whether big or small nowadays will have requirements in the IT sections. These include Banking sector, Telecommunication sector, Dairy Sector etc.

Hi,
After completing BCA you have 2 options:
1.To opt for a job.
2.To opt for further studies (MBA, MCA etc)
However as per your profile I would suggest you to work for 1-2 years after completing your BCA and then opt for further studies.
The advantage of this step would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which course to pursue that can further enhance your career prospects, i.e. if you wish to build your career in computer field, then you may pursue MCA, whereas if you are interested in management then you may pursue MBA.

Hi,
No, you cannot go for B.TECH as a BCA graduate. However if you are passionate for a degree in engineering/technology, you can go for M.TECH but only after you complete MCA.
So, right step would be to pick MCA. Simultaneously you can opt for industry relevant certifications which are designed basically to provide an extra edge to an individual by giving them an in-depth knowledge in a particular area of subject.

Pursuing MCA is logical and relevant to your field of study. The choice also depends on your interests - being on the technical side or move into the management side after gaining technical experience. If the answer is technical, then go in for MCA. Otherwise MBA is a good option to incorporate the management skills and move up the corporate ladder.
