Even though the two post graduation courses are at same level there are some differences between them. MCA is a 3 year programme where as M.Sc. computer Science is a 2year programme. MCA covers the software and its application related field. M.Sc. computer Science covers the both hardware and software field. You are advised to seek admission in BCA followed by MCA to have a career in IT industry. The general eligibility criteria to be eligible for applying for BCA course is 10+2 from a recognised board of education or equivalent, with minimum 50% marks in total and also having Mathematics as a subject in the qualifying examination. Some colleges such as IGNOU allow non-maths students to seek admission in BCA.

At this time, IT industry is down. After MCA, you will get 4-5 lakhs. But, when you have experience, it will be 8-10 lakhs. My suggestion will be that don't go for BCA. Go for B.Tech IT and after that, go for MBA. You will have a bright future.
