BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for a job after completing BCA in small and medium size IT companies. Indian IT industry does not prefer BCA for entry level developer and testers role. You may get junior developer or application support jobs. If there is no personal conditions, you are advised to complete MCA before seeking a job in IT industry. MCA graduates are treated on par with B.Tech CS and B.Sc IT graduates for application development and maintenance jobs.

It totally depends on what kind of job you are interested in to pursue. It is always advisable to go for MCA for better future prospects and career advancement.

The basic eligibility for admission to BCA is a pass in 10+2 examination in any stream or diploma from any recognised board of education with English as a subject of study. Some colleges prefer students from Science stream or who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level.

As far as my knowledge goes, B.Tech in EEE is better in terms of placement as well as salary.
