According to student reviews, Bhopal doesn't seem to be a suitable place for engineering. Bhopal is considered appropriate for engineering only if you view it as obtaining a degree or certificate in B.Tech or B.E. Students in Bhopal's engineering programs seem disinterested or unaware of terms like IT industry, software, languages, projects, GitHub, WordPress, freelance development, frameworks, startups, etc. They seldom discuss any of these topics; instead, their focus is on clearing backlogs and passing the time. Many students who graduate with B.E/B.Tech degrees from here are perceived as lacking practical skills. Many students came across numerous instances where students struggle to compose an application without seeking help, despite maintaining an average CGPA of ~7.0 in almost every paper.

Several incidents highlight the unfavorable environment of engineering education in Bhopal. If you are considering engineering, I would recommend exploring options in the Delhi/NCR region and enrolling in a reputable college. If good colleges are not available, it might be wise to reconsider engineering, as pursuing it solely for a degree may not be worthwhile.
