With 439 marks and a 3 Lacs rank in NEET, you can easily get admission in MBBS colleges with the SC category in Bihar. You have good chances of getting a government seat and obviously private ones also. Although the options for government may be limited due to high cutoff of government colleges as there is low availability of seats and high competition. As you belong to the SC category, this will help you to secure the seat more easily as compared to other categories.

To be eligible for the Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC) Scheme your college must be approved by a state or federal government regulating organisation If your college is not mentioned on the official BSCC portal, it may not be currently eligible for the scheme. To remedy this issue you might ask your college administration to apply for inclusion in the scheme. It depends on the college's eligibility criteria and the JEE Main cutoff for the year. Some institutes accept students with lower JEE Main ranks.

Eligibility criteria

To get admission to top engineering colleges in Bihar, you must pass Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12 with at least 60% marks.

You must also pass standard entrance exams like JEE Main, ICAR AIEEA, JEE Advanced, etc.

JEE Main cutoff

The JEE Main cutoff for the SC category in 2025 is expected to be between 61 and 92.

The cut-off for the General category is expected to be between 85 and 100 marks.

For Bihar ICU technician courses, look for the Bihar Institute of Health Care Courses (BIHCC) that provides a Diploma in ICU Technician. The course lasts about 2 years, and qualification is based on a 12th standard certification. Fees for these courses range from 80,000 to 1 Lacs annually, based on the institute. Others like Patna Institute of Nursing & Paramedical Science and Bihar Institute of Nursing and Paramedical may conduct associated paramedical courses, but individual ICU technician courses are to be double-checked with the concerned institutions.

In order to change your stream from PCM to PCB before the 11th registration in the Bihar board, you need to contact your school administration immediately and submit a written request to change your subject combination on the online registration portal during the designated window for stream selection. You are also required to give a valid reason for altering the subjects so that your request is accepted favorably. You need to meet the required 10th score criteria in order to get PCB on the board website. You need to complete this process before the board website window closes.
