At UG level, MGM IBT offers BTech and BSc programmes in various specialisations of Biosciences and Technology viz., Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Food Technology & Processing. Admission to the BSc Biological Science course is strictly done on the basis of the candidate’s marks obtained at the higher secondary level. However, some top colleges in India conducted their own entrance tests for getting admission to this course. After that, the qualifying candidates need to undergo a personal interview session for final selection

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2024 was released upto five rounds, wherein, B.Tech. in Biosciences and Bioengineering Last Round was, 9178 for General category candidates at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 17156 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
Considering the Last Round rank for General AI category, it can be observed that BTech in Biosciences and Bioengineering had shown a fluctuating trend over the past three years.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Biological Science and Bioengineering was 7309 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in IIT Kanpur - Indian Institute of Technology.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 4554 and closing rank was 4659 in 2023. The cutoff in 2024 for the all-India quota ranged from 6695 to 9975. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Biosciences in IIIT Delhi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
