You can apply in various biological as well as various medical research department included under The Government of India. You can work in the research and development departments of pharma/biotech companies. Biotechnology is a highly research oriented field, specifically if you are going the B.Sc/M.Sc route. If you are planning to do your B.Sc in Biotechnology, then an M.Sc is imperative for this field.
