Guide-Level 13
Greetings from Shiksha!
I'm a student doing my B.Tech biotechnology from NIT, Warangal. I would say that if you are truly interested in biotechnology then select this course but if you want to choose one in terms of placement then go for chemical engineering. That will help you. Good luck!

Private sector pharmaceutical companies generally offer salary between Rs. 12,000- Rs. 20,000 per month to an entry-level postgraduate. A skilled and experienced bio-technologist can get salaries far beyond his expectations.

1. B.Sc zoology, B.Sc botany, B.Sc Physiology, B.Sc anthropology - all these subjects are in colleges, and biology is taught in schools aswell. So, you have a huge career option open for you, as a teacher or lecturer.
2. You can opt for B.Sc Microbiology, which is an upcoming field and also has lots of scope in research.
