Yes. You have bright chances of getting into the topmost colleges of IPU like VIPS, MSI, and MAIT. Your achievement is commendable. Getting a rank under 500 ensures you get into the top 3 colleges. Just make sure you attend the counselling sessions as scheduled.

For admissions in the college for biotechnology, you have to qualify the exam. Otherwise, you can take admissions in any low ranking private college in your state. Some top college for M.Sc. Biotech are:-
1. Indian Institute of Technology -bombay
2. Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology, Trivandrum
3. School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad
4. National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal
5. Institute of Chemical Technology, University of Mumbai
6. Department of Biochemical Engineering & Biotechnology, Indian Institute of Technology

It is a good option because you will have a chance to change your branch after the first year, based on your performance in the first year. Even if you are not able to change your branch, biotechnology is also a good stream in NIT, Warangal.

Yes, you have to give entrance exam for B.Sc. Biotechnology. You have to give JEE Mains/Amity JEE.
