An eligible candidate has to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE exams. GATE exam is jointly conducted by Indian Institute of Science and IITs for technical graduates. Forms for GATE exam is available in the month of September every year and admit card can be taken in the month of December. Exam is conducted in the month of January and expected month for declaration of result is March. Skills tested in this exam are General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics. You are not eligible for B.Tech in biotechnology, because the eligibility requires Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics or other opted subjects. So, it is better, you go for B.Sc in biotechnology.

Hello, From here http://bit.ly/2HxUej2 you can check the detailed eligibility criteria required to appear in the JAM Exam. JAM Exam is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. So, if you are planning to appear in the exam then, you must study well. IIT JAM 2019 Exam will be conducted in the month of February 2019. So, you have enough time left for the preparation. Candidate who is seeking to pursue M.Sc. In Neuroscience, from any of the recognised Institution, must have completed the Bachelor's Degree programme in Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Neurobiology/ Neuroscience/ Zoology along with Chemistry. In addition, veterinary Science, MBBS and B.Tech in Biotechnology graduates are also eligible. Candidate must score a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination. Nobody can address this query, as every college has a different number of seats for students of outside Delhi. You will have to fill in your priority list at the counseling, so check about the seats from the college representatives present there.
