Admission 2014. Thank you for showing interest in our B.Tech Program. The downloadable application forms for the same is available at the admission information link on www.dypatildbb.ac.in or you may purchase the same from the Department office at Plot no: 50, Sector 15, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai campus. A list of entrance dates are given in the prospectus and application form. Please go through it.
As this is a life science subject, approximately 60% of the students opt for Higher studies in India and abroad and our students are very much successful in securing admissions with very highly ranked institutes abroad because of the course curriculum they follow here. The remaining students are given 100% placement assistance.
The Department is organizing “Free Career Guidance in Biosciences” on 29th March, 5th April, 12th April, 19th April and 26th April, 2014 to aid parents and students to take a knowledgeable decision for Graduate and Post Graduate studies in Biosciences. The session will talk about the Department, Overview of the courses offered along with the subject content, Opportunities after completion of the respective courses and the Department Lab Infrastructure.

After B.Tech Biotechnology, you may opt for M.Tech (technical field) OR MBA (management line). Further, you may opt for short term specialized courses related to the field :
-Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research & Regulatory Affairs, Biotechnology Training
-Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology
-Certificate Program in Clinical Research and Diploma in Biotechnology
-PGD in Biotechnology
-PGD in Clinical Research
You have another option, you may plan to work in private or public sector industries of various types. After gaining a valuable work experience of a year or two you may finally get a clear picture about your interest area, whether to go with M.Tech or MBA.
