The number of applicants and the exam's difficulty level are two criteria that affect the cutoff for the M.Sc. in Botany program at Islamia College of Commerce. The required minimum percentage is 55% (45% for SC/ST).
You must have passed the Higher Secondary Part II Examination with Biology as one of your courses and received at least a 45% overall score at the 10+2 level in order to be eligible for the course.
The course provides a competitive average wage package, and prestigious employers like Wipro, Infosys, and IBM often hire students. Most students—between 60% and 70%—are enrolled in the course.

To be eligible for the DSSSB TGT Science post, you typically need a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree along with a required subject-specific qualification. While a B.Sc. Hons in Botany is aligned with the Science field, having English as an elective subject might not directly fulfill the subject-specific qualification required for the TGT Science post.
TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher, and for subjects like Science, DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board) usually requires candidates to have a B.Sc. degree in a relevant Science subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and a B.Ed. degree with the necessary teaching
