The eligibility criteria for B.Tech is to clear the Second PUC or Intermediate with a physics, chemistry, and maths background and after completing the second PUC you can write competitive exams and get ranked and based on that the college will be alloted. For admission in a BTech programme at KKR and KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences (KITS Guntur), it is crucial that the aspirant fulfills the course-specific eligibility criteria. Thus, only the asiprants who have passed Class 12 are eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the Class 12 mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) at Sushant University, Gurgaon is to get 50% marks in 12th grade or higher secondary level. For JEE Main cleared candidates, 50% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) at 12th grade is also required. The programme aims to train students in specialised AI/ML courses along with fundamental computer Science engineering courses to meet the growing demand for skilled AI talent.

The eligibility criteria for BTech CSE course usually varies from institute to institute. But generally you need to clear Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Maths, and Chemistry or Computer Science as mandatory subjects. You are also required to score between 50 to 60 percent as an aggregate.

Computer Science Engineering Course Admission

The BTech selection criteria at Amrita Institution Nagercoil is based on the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2026 and JEE Mains percentile score. Apart from this, candidates must meet the last educational qualification set by the college. Aspirants must pass Class 12 with a 55% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

The basic eligibility requirement to pursue a Computer Science Engineering course at the UG and PG levels at BTech CSE colleges in UP:

• Eligibility requirements for BTech in CSE: Aspirants should have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognised board with Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Besides the candidates should also have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the above subjects combined.
• For admissions, candidates must take standard entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET,  and other university-specific entrance exams in addition to their Class 12 results.
