For admission in Engineering programs, the candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination in relevant subjects with at least 60% of marks in the qualifying examination at 10+2 / Intermediate level and admission through common entrance tests/competitive examinations conducted by national bodies like JEE/State Common Entrance Test/ Qualifying Examination on merit.

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational as one of the optional subjects for eligibility. Along that they should have obtained a minimum  score of 45% in the qualifying examination.
