Students who are interested in pursuing Marine Engineering in Tamil Nadu should ensure that they fulfil the admission eligibility criteria laid down by the college of their choice. Here is the Marine Engineering admission eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates should have studied Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics  (PCM) as compulsory subjects in classes 11 and 12

Asansol Engineering College offers 4-year BTech course in nine different specialisations. Candidates seeking admission in the 1st year of AEC BTech should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCM. Those seeking admission in the 2nd year of BTech course should either pass Diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from an AICTE recognised Polytechnic/Institute with at least 60% marks or pass 12th with maths as a subject and a degree in Science (BSc) from a UGC approved universities with at least 60% marks.

The be eligibe for KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology it may vary depending on the course and level of study say for B.Tech admissions, you must have completed their 10+2 board exams in the Science stream with a minimum of 50 percentage marks and for postgraduate courses, you must have passed a recognised bachelor’s degree with 50 percentage and for reserved category its arround 45 percentage.
