Asansol Engineering College offers 4-year BTech course in nine different specialisations. Candidates seeking admission in the 1st year of AEC BTech should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCM. Those seeking admission in the 2nd year of BTech course should either pass Diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from an AICTE recognised Polytechnic/Institute with at least 60% marks or pass 12^th with maths as a subject and a degree in Science (BSc) from a UGC approved universities with at least 60% marks.

Aspirants need to complete Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship and English with at least 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for JUET BTech. The eligibility for B Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science colleges in India are as follows:

• Candidates must have earned a passing grade in Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Class 12 exam with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised board.
