The basic eligibility requirement to pursue a Civil Engineering course at the UG and PG levels in BTech Civil Engineering colleges in Pune:
- Aspirants should have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. Besides the candidates should also have secured minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the above subjects combined.
- For admissions, candidates must take standard entrance exams like JEE Main, MHT CET, and other university-specific entrance exams in addition to their Class 12 results.

As per the course requirements, candidates applying for admission to BTech course at Vijaybhoomi School of Science and Technology must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board. Further, applicants from SC/ ST categories can obtain minimum of 40% aggregate scores in the same.

The eligibility criteria for the Distance / Correspondence BTech course may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for Distance / Correspondence BTech in Bangalore are as follows. The candidates:
- Must have passed Class 12 with a minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised board with Mathematics as Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects (the pass percentage may vary in different colleges).
- A candidate who has completed a Diploma from a recognised board/ university/ institute can also apply.

For BTech eligibility at MLSU, candidates must have passed Class 12 in PCM with at least 45% aggregate. Admission is given on the basis of JEE main entrance exam score followed by REAP counselling. The Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) conducts Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process for admission to BTech courses in various participating institutes of Rajasthan. REAP 2024 dates will be announced in June.
