btech Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Distance / Correspondence BTech course may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for Distance / Correspondence BTech in Bangalore are as follows. The candidates:

• Must have passed Class 12 with a minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised board with Mathematics as  Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects (the pass percentage may vary in different colleges).
• A candidate who has completed a Diploma from a recognised board/ university/ institute can also apply.

Aspirants who have completed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply for Pratap University BTech programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

In order to apply to the BTech course at NIET College, candidates need to meet the last educational qualification. Students should complete Class 12 with 45%-40% aggregate. Aspirants who do not complete Class 12 are not eligible for BTech course admission in this college. Apart from this, the selection criteria for the BTech course is JEE Main followed by UPTAC counselling.

Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Gautam Buddha University BTech programme. Candidates need to complete three years/ two years Diploma exam with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) to apply for BTech (LE). Aspirants with BSc degree or DVoc can also apply. 

For BTech eligibility at MLSU, candidates must have passed Class 12 in PCM with at least 45% aggregate. Admission is given on the basis of JEE main entrance exam score followed by REAP counselling. The Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) conducts Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process for admission to BTech courses in various participating institutes of Rajasthan. REAP 2024 dates will be announced in June.

In order to apply for BTech LE course admission at Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management, candidates must complete the eligibility set by the college. To know in detail students can check the table presented below:

Eternal University selects candidates for CSE based on JEE (Main) with 15% marks for general category and 10% marks for reserved category or HPCET with 20% marks for general category and 15% marks for reserved category. For CSE admission, the university conducts an entrance exam. Besides, aspirants must also meet the eligibility requirement for admission to BTech course. 

Candidates must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) with at least 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Eternal University BTech Food Technology. For CSE, candidates must pass Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate.

The eligibility criteria for the BTech courses may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for BTech admission to top BTech colleges in Karnataka are as follows. The candidates:

• Must have passed Class 12 with a minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised board with Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects (the pass percentage may vary in different colleges)
• For admissions, candidates must take standard entrance exams like KCET, COMEDK UGET, JEE Main, etc.,  and other university-specific entrance exams in addition to their Class 12 results.
