btech Eligibility

The general eligibility criteria to get admission to top colleges for Chemical Engineering in Kerala are mentioned below:

• Students must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam scoring a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics as  Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the pertinent field and a valid KEAM score or any other exam accepted by the institute/university. Students must have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their UG degree.

1. Candidates interested in applying for B.Tech should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English with 45% marks.
2. For selection, they have to take the KCET or the COMEDK UGET entrance exam.
3. After qualifying for the entrance examination, candidates should appear for the counselling process. The final admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination and counselling process.

Candidates seeking admission to a BTech course at Calicut University must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Also, they must attain a minimum of 45% aggregate in their final exam of Class 12. The students whose results are pending can also apply for the course provisionally. Moreover, candidates must have academic certificates for verification purposes. KEAM/ JEE Main + CAP are the entrance exams accepted by the Calicut University for admission to the BTech course.

The eligibility criteria for the BTech course at Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal is that the candidate should have passed Class 12 with Maths as a compulsory subject:

Candidates need to complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised board to apply for Haridwar University BTech (Hons) programme. BTech is a four-year programme divided into eight semesters. Admission to BTech is based on JEE Main, HUAET or CUET rank and eligibility criteria set by the university. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.
