No, candidates who apply through their JEE Mains score are not required to appear for the interview rounds of Sharda University. Candidates who qualify through their JEE Mains rank for BTech courses skip all sections of the SUAT including written test, personal interview and Group Discussion sessions.

BTech in Mechanical Engineering course at Sharda University is offered in two specialisations which include BTech in ME in Mechatronics and Advanced Electric Vehicles.

BTech in ME (Advanced Electric Vehicles) course is offered by Sharda University in conjunction with L&T Edutech.

Yes, it provides placement support to BTech students. There is a dedicated placement cell for organising placement drives for students. The placement drive is usually around December. Placements are offered to final year students. However, second/third year students can also apply for internships.

The highest number of placements are reported in Computer Engineering with a package of INR 4-6 LPA. Second number of the highest placements are from BTech Information Technology. Various companies visit the campus for recruitment. As per official website, 1000+ companies have visited for placement. The mentioned data is as per the latest records available at official website. No, there is no specific CVMU BTech seat reservation policy for girls. The admissions are based on merit basis only. Seat allotment is done through multiple counselling rounds. Candidates can fill their college and branch preferences. Reservation of seats is as per ACPC and state government norms.

The highest number of seats in are 180 in Computer Engineering in MBIT, followed by Information Technology in ADIT and MBIT (120). Other branches have seats around 30-60, depending on the college. The seats are allocated on the basis of merit rank in GUJCET/JEE Main.

The placements offered are average in terms of salary packages. The average salary is INR 3.5 LPA. the highest package offered is around INR 6-8 LPA. In some branches, better salary packages are offered compared to others. The mentioned statistics are as per the latest record available on official website. It is subject to change. Top recruiters include Adani, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, Nestle, Patanjali and many more.

The fee for both colleges are in the same range. Candidates should look for other factors like placement and cutoff to choose a better university. The average package offered at CVMU is INR 3.5 LPA while at Parul University it is INR 3.6-7.2 LPA. Hence, in terms of ROI, Parul University is better.

Yes, it is mandatory for all students to complete an internship during the course. It is a part of fourth year curriculum. It is compulsory for all BTech branches. Students can apply for internships in college during the placement drive.

Core subjects are respective of the specialisations. Each specialisation focuses on different subjects. There are some common subjects like Constitution of India, Engineering Workshop, Physics, Calculus which are taught in first year of every course. Apart from core subjects, submission of a project and doing an internship during last year of BTech is compulsory for all students.
