Yes, definitely worth considering. Thapar has a good reputation, strong academics, decent placements and good industry exposure. If you're getting a preferred branch there, I'd say go for it.

Aspirants applying for All India Quota seats have to pay INR 1,000 as application fees to apply for BTech at Pandit Deendayal Energy University. This is valid for students from school located in Gujarat or outside Gujarat. Candidates can pay the application fees via any of the online payment modes.

Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers admission in 75% All India Quota BTech seats based on JEE Main rank. For rest 25%, aspirants need to have GUJCET score. They also have to register on the official website of ACPC, Gujarat for seat allotment. Once the seat is allotted, aspirants have to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment.

- 100% tuition fee waiver is offered to wards of Gallantry Award winner or those who made
supreme sacrifice for the nation i.e. fatal battle causality. - 50% tuition fee waiver is offered to ward injured / war disabled soldier of defence force
and CAPF. - 50% tuition fee waiver is offered to wards soldiers whose annual income less than INR 8 lakh.

No, candidates cannot get FFE scholarship for BTech with MCM scholarship at IIT Indore. Students who have already got a scholarship (government or private) are not eligible for FFE scholarship.

IIT in Indore offers Foundation for Excellence (FFE) Scholarship to BTech students. To be eligible for the scholarship, Class 12 marks must be 70% and above, JEE Advanced Marks must be 152 or above and combined family income must be INR 1.80 Lacs or less per annum.
